I have dinned at two Hungry Jacks (HJ's) outlets in Cairns, the Westcourt and Mt Sheridan restuarants and I have found both atmosphere and food below average. Other HJ's restaurants in Gold Coast and Brisbane are much cleaner and the food is presented in a orderly way and time. Cairns however, seems to have lower standards!
As a mother of 4 children HJ's and McDonalds are treats, but with the poor hygeine and "so, so" food how can it be a treat!
Both outlets lack clean facilities and the food comes out at a slow pace, the chips or fries are often cold by the time the "microwaved" pattie is slapped onto the bun!
If you want to treat your children, give them a more of a experience. Try La Porchetta (kids eat free!) or sizzler.
