A complete guide to Cairns Restaurants

The Edge Cafe

We're terribly sorry to report, but this venue has now closed down.

The Edge is a boutique cafe popular with locals in the trendy Edge Hill Village. The style is influenced by Melbourne food culture; blending a gourmet deli, café and food store. The cafe takes a modern and eclectic approach and is well known among Cairns foodies as the place to go when searching for gourmet and hard to find pantry items. Offers alfresco dining, and homely air-conditioned interior. A favourite place of ours for a soporific breakfast.

Enjoyed a good coffee and weekend brunch here Despite it being fairly busy. What was a bit unpleasant was the back of the cafe is used as a storage warehouse basically! With stock, loo paper etc stacked high to the roof. If I wanted to dine in cluttered mess I would have stayed at home!

The meals are great, the only decision is what to eat.
