This restaurant is the Tafe training restaurant where up and coming chefs and waitors test their skills. This restaurant has the potential to serve fantastic meals at very low prices, but be prepared for standards to slip occasionally. For a cheap lunch or dinner, it's worth the risk.

One of Cairns' few delis, and a worthy stop off for any self-respecting foodie. Victor's Deli has a good range of European cheeses and smallgoods, as well as a wide range of groceries from Italy and further abroad. They also make decent coffee, sandwiches and rolls. They do subscribe to the Italian slow food concept though, so don't rush quality.
