The Garden Room

This was the most delicious dinner we ever had in our life.

You can not imagine how someone can cook wonderful meals like these. Everybody who wants to visit Cairns like us is the Garden Room one thing you realy have to go. The owners Josef and Phoebe are wonderful and warm lovely persons and the Restaurant will give you a great taste of tropical and asian life. We will come back again to eat the unbelivable flavour again. It´s miracle. It´s perfect combination of flavours.

WOW. You really should pay this place a visit and when you do give your taste buds a work out by having the Beef Rendang, a perfect blend of flavors. I would certainly give this place 11 out of 10. The food, the service and the ambiance, it all just worked…….

we have had the most fantatsic meal at the garden room. Prawn Pirripirri is the most exotic prawn dish i have tasted. The chef is superb Joseph Bruckner and his business partner Phoebe Tucker is the most amazing warm person who has created an amazing atmosphric reastaurant. 10 stars is what i would give it.

FANTASTIC!!! The Sri Lankan Curry is spectacular. Service from co-owner and Maitre D Pheobe is excellent. Beautiful setting, a lot of effort put into huge bunches of fresh flowers. Have eaten there a few times and the food is magic.....you will be hard put to match this anywhere else in Cairns. The menu is a bit Indonesian, a bit Thai, with a little Indian & Sri Lankan thrown in. My favourite in Cairns so far.

My friends and I frequent the Garden Room and never come away hungry. The food is second to none, and combined with the great staff it's a definite recommendation to anyone who wants great food with old fashioned great service. (We like it so much we had our wedding reception there)

Gorgeous Asian cuisine in a comfy casual atmosphere. Be sure to try the Ma Hor, something I've never experienced before. It was a treat!
