The Homestead Restaurant

I attended a wedding at the homestead in tolga and it was outstanding, The Food and service was great but what really took my breath away was the wonderful gardens and surroundings, The venue is jam packed with atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone looking to get married and want somewhere a little different, to Go check out this place. The beauty, delicious Food and wonderful staff will knock your socks off

Whilst enjoying our honeymoon in Tolga/Atherton, my husband and I stumbled upon this little gem of a restuarant and it will now hold a special place in our hearts forever. The atmosphere was delightful, the lodge beautiful and the service was personal and enjoyable. All of these as great as they were, pale in comparison with the absolutely amazing food that was served from entree to dessert, each outdoing the next. (Even the damper/bread served on the side was beautiful) We left The Homestead Resturant completely satisfied and planning our next trip to the area so we could again enjoy the faboulous dining experience. We recommend it to everyone and anyone we meet, it is just perfect!

I have been to the homestead restaurant and i can tell you that the food was beautiful and the service was fantastic. If anyone is looking to go to the tablelands i would recommend this restaurant because the night was incredable and i have been more than once all i can say is thank you to this restaurant for making our night perfect. I will be going again.

We have dined many times at The Homestead Restaurant and have taken many friends and family from interstate to dine there. We have always found the staff polite, well mannered and always ready to assist in any way they can The friends we have taken to The Homestead have always been impressed by the food and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. We have dined at many a la carte restraunts on the Tablelands and we always return to Troy and Toni's wonderful restraunt, where you not only get value for money, you get a damn good meal of exemplary quality.

The food was lovely and the atmosphere wasn't too bad, however I found that the service by one particular young man was very offputting for the whole night, I found him sloppy and the servcie at the table by him was almost disgusting, it was a shame that this one staff member made the whole experience unforgettable for the wrong reasons. I wouldn't recomend this restaurant to anyone. Food 4 stars service 1 star.
