Cock & Bull Restaurant

We came over to Australia for a month in Sept 07. We visited the cock and Bull twice for a meal while in Cairns. We thought the meals were very generous and well cooked all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Hi there, having just returned home to the UK I discovered the Cock&Bull two days before leaving to my disappointment. What a fantastic place for people of all generations, great food,large portions and friendly staff. Yes perhaps the bleepers might be a negative but DON'T let that put you off visiting as I promise you will CERTAINLY be missing OUT on the best pub grub in Cairns. I shall certainly be visiting on my return to your GREAT country. Till then keep up the fantastic food and service.

We are three families who have have been going to the Cock and Bull Restautrant for years as it is the best feed in town, the food is quality and plentiful however the last time we went there they have installed those dreadful beepers that go off when your meal is ready to be collected, so the whole wonderful ambience of the place has been ruined by having these dreadful beepers going off all around you at different tables, we will not go there any more and we tell all our visitors to do the same.

We would like to suggest that the Management sit there enjoying their nice dinner and have it spoiled by having these dreadful things going off all through the meal.

i have eaten at the cock and bull many times and enjoy the food, as it huge and tasty but that only makes up for the low quality of service due to the staff being back packers and not giving a toss, but it is a great place to start a night off with its great vibe ,please dont be put off from going there if you are a lover of big steaks 500g or chicken parmas this place is diffiently worth a visit
