The Green Ant Cantina... not so much a place but more a state of mind. The food is great, music is kickin, the drinks priced just right. It's all about the vibe! Do you yourself a favour - get in there.

Super Tuesdays two for one meals greent ant.

I like to meet with friends and chill out play pool whilst sucking on a saki.

My bday this sun, so i am taking all my mates there for a beer and celebrate! yay

The BEST burgers in town....not to mention their perfectly cooked chips. Great atmosphere and good range to international beers

The Green Ant is the anti-cheese for backpackers. Not a wet t-shirt comp in sight. It's not just the woolshed that does cheap meals, on mondays travellers get 2 for 1 meals, that's 2 steaks for $25! Yum! And every day there's a $5 meal deal, just get your vouchers from the local hostels, and trust me it's not just mass produced slop, it's bloody great. Love the music, the place, and, of course, the food!!

The Green Ant has the best chicken burgers and chips in australia which is one of my favs and the chicken caseda with the chili and sour cream, yummy. Great food, good prices. Laidbackatmosphere , its like being at woodstock on a smaller scale. If you are there on a sunday night,just maybe, you will get to hear the most awesome singers in australia. Joely,Big Steve, Hippy Bob, Gavin, Jason,Medina and of course Benny.
