Waterbar and Grill Steakhouse

...We came to Cairns for a week. After the second night in Cairns we dined at Waterbar and Grill, we went back every night!!!
The steak is amazing, the Tapas huge and very tasty, Portugese Chicken amazing, fish was fresh and fantastic, the south african sausage was excellent too!

Service was 5 star

The meals are of a high standard, a decent size and good value.

Highly reccomended, I will be back in June for another 7 nights of great food!

The best steaks in Cairns - BY FAR! If you are not a big eater then do not have an entree because you will need to leave room for mains. Portion sizes are huge. Steak is the best I have had in Cairns. True, melt in your mouth, steak!

We are locals and find it hard to find consistantly good food & Service in Cairns. The waterbar has become one of our favorite restaurants because the food is so fantastic, especially the steaks. We love the open kitchen & chatting with the Chef's. Sometimes the service is hit or miss, but it is still one of our favorite restaurants and we take all our clients & guests there. Try the Espatada, it's our favorite!

A lovely tasty Restaurant! Suprised there are not more reviews on the page! My partner and I went to this Restaurant once a week when we lived in Cairns and not once were we let down. The best steak we have ever eaten! Being situated directly on the water creates a warm, relaxed atmospher and the inside decore is a credit to the owners who obviously have great taste! We can't wait to go back there after returning from England.

Booked in for Fathers day lunch and we were all impressed. Great value in great surroundings and the meals were big for a nice change. Very good service from all the staff, our glasses never sat empty on our table. Will definately be going back again.

I cannot express enough times how wonderful my experience was dining at this restaurant. I have been recommending the food to all my friends and am eager to take my husband with me next time as I'm sure he will enjoy it as much as I did. I commend the staff on their friendly and attentive attitudes and especially the chefs to the most exquisite tastes I have enjoyed in a long time when dining out. Well done everyone.
