Cafe De Lema

Cafe De Lema Palm Cove

Famous for their tropical fruit daquiris, Cafe De Lema is a funky alfresco cafe overlooking the ocean in Palm Cove. Offering fun Fawlty Towers type of service and atmosphere, you won't leave the cafe without having at least one real Santa Claus belly laugh. Playing groovy cocktail tunes, this cafe's focus is on fun, with unstifling class. Very popular, bookings strongly advised for dinner.

Just returned from a really enjoyable night out at the Cafe De Lema. Great 3 course meal, fabulous service from the friendly staff and one of the best value for money meals in Palm Cove. We are locals and definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning ourselfs.

We found this delightful little restaurant on the last night of our honeymoon a few years ago, now we return every year for our anniversary dinner. The staff are wonderful the food is top class in a very relaxed atmosphere. We have never been disappointed with the meals as it is good value for money, you would never leave hungry. The only negative thing I would have to say is that there is no handicapped access and the menu hasn't changed much in two years. As locals would be nice to see a change in the menu from time to time. Overall we would rate this place to dine in palm cove, a truly memorable dining experience.

We stayed in Palm Cove just before Christmas and had 3 memorable meals at the cafe de Lema.
The food was delicious and varied, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we were watched through most of the meal by a Kookaburra sitting above us, which was quite exciting for us English folk! (Although the Aussies seemed to quite like it too!)
We had 2 teenage children with us who were made very welcome, and we would definately recommend this restaurant as great value and excellent quality.
