Far Horizons Restaurant

We had our wedding at this restaurant and have had amazing feedback. Being right on the beach there is no place like it in Cairns. Food is delicious, atmosphere is amazing and the staff are great. The soft shelled crab is to die for!

Fantastic food, wonderful setting, but wine too expensive and not adventurous enough for a restaurant of this standing, and it was probably my favourite of all in FNQ apart from Silky Oaks at Mosman.

I went to Far Horizons for lunch 2 years ago with my family who were over from UK. It was so special that my boyfriend and I commented it would make a great wedding reception venue - sure enough we are now engaged and booked in for October this year. The food is excellent, the ambience, music and staff fantastic, I would recommend to anyone.

A perfect place to go and spoil that someone speacial. Great service from the waiters who actually know whats on the menu. Beautiful sceneary and delicious food. (Try the Duck!)

Our family had a fanastic evening meal on Christmas Day 2004. Our table overlooked the palm trees and beach, with the background noise of waves breaking on the beach. The staff were that wonderful mix of being friendly yet professional. The food was superb and the lady singer, accompanied by the pianist just made the evening 'unforgettable'. It was like a dream come true.

This would have to be one of the best restaurants we have been to anywhere in the world. The food was sensational, the service amazing and the ambience and location second to none. Not cheap, but an experience to remember long after you have forgotten the cost. Absolutely first class in every respect.

Also they have some of the nicest staff you'll ever meet who go out of their way to ensure that you have the best time possible!!

Delightfully romantic, classy and delicious food. Perfect atmosphere for a cosy dinner for two... the crashing waves of Palm Cove are a lovely sound with dinner.
