4 Mile Takeaway is situated on a parade of shops in the 4 mile district just before you reach the main town in Port Douglas.

When entering the shop, the staff were very friendly, and also incredibly helpful and informative, when I asked about what was on offer.

The fish is all extremely fresh and you get good-sized portions. You won't find anywhere else in Port Douglas which is better value.

Try the chicken salt on the chips - it's delicious!
