The Stumbling Goat

All of my time in Far North Queensland has been special. The Great Barrier Reef, the Kuranda Sky Rail, Cape Tribulation, etc have all been memorable. I have another memorable location now to add to my list. The Stumbling Goat Restaurant in Cairns. Cairns is full of over priced, over valued restaurants catering to the crowd that will soon leave town. I found the Stumbling Goat to be the kind of place I would eat at often if it was near my home. Excellent food, exemplary service, an excellent wine list, and fantastic desserts made my time there well worthwhile. The wait staff was friendly, served me well, and had many suggestions that made my meal better. The Salt and Pepper Calamari was out of this world. Check this place out and if you had half as good a time as I did it would still be great. Five stars.
