Shrubbery Taverna

My family enjoyed a great dinner at the Shrubbery Taverna last weekend. Visiting from Mackay QLD, the food and service exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent and so was the service. I found the whole atmosphere very welcoming.
The view is priceless.

Visiting from Melbourne, and looking for a good meal in Mission Beach, we stumbled upon the Shrubbery Taverna. From the moment we sat down, we were welcomed and made to feel at home by an amazing staff. Unlike a lot of menus, the difficulty came in trying to choose a single item, as there were so many all at the table wanted to sample. And the food lived up to expectations. The service and food to rival among the best in Melbourne. Congratulations to the owners and chef.

We visited this restaurant for the second time last week. The food was amazing.The fresh ingredients and interesting combinations were a delight to the palate. The chef even came to our table to check if everything was OK. The service was absolutely superb and the ambience was relaxed, warm and funky. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting the area. It is fantastic.

i found mission beach by accident while on a road trip with a group of my friends. We actually thought we were in arlie beach! anyway, we went to the shrubbery for dinner cos we had heard from the locals that it was the resteraunt to go for a laid back, cruzy evening. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere is great, Norbert and the staff are "real"and the entertainment that Adamo kept going through the night was so relaxing and left us with a casual vibe. We will definantly return the to shrubbery again!
