A very popular restaurant owned by vibrant local chef and keen yachtie, Ian Candy. Previously operating outside the CBD, Fishlips now calls the ailing Cairns Yacht Club home and is obviously the restaurant of a seafood lover & experimental wine taster. Locals love Fishlips for the non-touristy feel and inexpensive prices, and that most wines are available by the glass. If you want to try exceptional barramundi, you can't go past Fishlips. Dine al fresco on the deck (this is the city's only absolute beachfront restaurant)
or inside during the warmer summer months.
